Pop-up: Nashville’s famed Prince’s Hot Chicken dinners in Austin Tuesday and Wednesday

Arguably the most famous name in the Nashville hot chicken game is coming to Austin for the first time. October, the new craft beer site from the Pitchfork family, is hosting pop-up dinners on Tuesday and Wednesday night at Independence Brewing Co. (3913 Todd Lane),with blazing hot chicken from Prince’s Hot Chicken of Nashville. ┬áThe family-owned hot chicken joint with the entertaining and apocryphal origin story has never served its chicken in Austin, and trust us, you’re gonna need a lot of beer.

There will be two dinners each night, at 6 and 8:30 p.m., and tickets for the beer-paired dinner can be purchased for $65 online.
