Refined Southern restaurant Olamaie welcomes renowned New York City chef Marcus Samuelsson on November 5 for a special brunch benefiting the Texas Book Festival. The three-course brunch will feature recipes from Samuelsson’s latest release, “The Red Rooster Cookbook,” named after his restaurant in Harlem. The book includes Southern and multi-cultural dishes. The James Beard award-winning chef, who was born in Ethiopia and raised in Sweden, will be in town for the Texas Book Festival.

Tickets are $125 per person for the 11 a.m. event and include brunch (with cocktails) and a signed copy of “The Red Rooster Cookbook.” Tickets are available on the Texas Book Festival’s website.
