Eat ‘pink pancakes’ at Kerbey Lane Cafe for Breast Cancer Awareness month

Add some pink to your diet during October while Kerbey Lane is recognizing Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The popular Austin diner will be selling “pink pancakes” for $3.95 at all seven of their locations.

All proceeds from the pink pancakes from Oct. 1 through Oct. 31 will go to the Breast Cancer Resource Centers of Texas.

For those wary of added food coloring — don’t fret. In a press release, Kerbey Lane said the special buttermilk pancakes are made pink by a strawberry puree.

Kerbey will also be raising money for BRCC by selling special T-shirts with “strategically placed short stacks on the front of them.”
